National space day

The national  day in India is being celebrated, it’s the auspicious landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon. It is salutation on 23 August. On 23 August 2023, the Indian Space Research Organisation extends a notable milestone by successfully arriving Chandrayaan-3’s lander and tramp on the Moon. Besides these, with this success, India became the fourth country in the world to orbit around the Moon day, India national day, space day, national space day, national day and the first to land near the southern pole. Celebration or activities of national space day

India became the fourth country to land on the moon and the first to reach its southern polar space on August 23, 2023. To recognize and honor this historic achievement, Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi declared August 23 as “National Space Day”. India will be celebrating its maiden National Space Day on August 23, 2024, with the theme “Touching Lives while Touching the Moon: India’s Space Saga.”

ISRO Chairman S Somanath has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for playing a pivotal role in taking forward the cause of India’s area sector. “From being a licensing regime, the sector has evolved to be more participative. There have been several policy reforms and recent initiatives in the area sector under the leadership of PM Modi, who has been instrumental in its growth,” Somanath stated in an exclusive talk with ANI on National Space Day.

“PM Modi’s leadership has made all the difference in a few key policy interventions in India’s area sector. As Prime Minister, Modi has not just formulated but also implemented policies through the governmental system,” said Somanath.Chandrayaan-3 was an extension of the Chandrayaan-2 mission to demonstrate the end-to-end ability for a soft landing and mobility on the lunar surface. It had a ground and rover configuration. Chandrayaan-3 was launched from SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota, by LVM3. There are three mission elements or objectives: demonstration of a safe and smooth landing on the moon’s surface, demonstration of rover movement at the designated location on the moon’s surface, and conducting scientific studies at that place. After such a mission successfully achieved the first aim on August 23, 2023, the whole nation rejoiced and showed patriotic zeal in the events.

Somanath visited a special exhibition of space technologies, and achievements at Bharat Mandapam on the occasion of the first National Space Day on Friday.

President Droupadi Murmu distributed prizes to winners of the ISRO Robotics Challenge and Bharatiya Antariksh Hackathon. Several prominent Indian government figures took to social media on National Space Day to express pride and hearty excitement. Talking about India’s space program, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri traced it from more humble origins to its current status as one of the world leaders in space exploration. He elaborated on the major contribution made by Indian oil cryogenics in enabling these advances and spoke of the upcoming Gaganyaan mission in 2024.

The Union Minister also brought out the spirit and pride of the nation possible with ISRO’s success in getting underway the Moon mission, Chandrayaan-3, and the Aditya-L1 mission preparing for the solar mission. He highlighted space exploration as a determinant of India’s future, calling on national pride to inspire the recording of more feats in the country. Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that it would be pertinent to remind the people of the historical day that is National Space Day and how for ages, India has continued to traverse the cosmos, bettering life using space technology.
